Europa FC established in 1925 has signed a partnership agreement with Lizzy Sports FC. This agreement will see active collaboration and partnership within the two clubs for the development of young talents, coaches, coaching techniques and access to respective footballing networks. This is to achieve new levels of success on and off the pitch. Europa FC will have the opportunity to sign some of the Lizzy Sports players once they meet their expectations. The Lizzy Sports FC operates U-17, U-15 and U-13 sides that play in the colts (juvenile) leagues in the country.
The partnership agreement which was signed in October last year at a ceremony in Mecca will see the players of the juvenile Ghanaian club get opportunities to have their players travel to Saudi Arabia to train with superior facilities at the Al Wehda Sports Complex.
When former France Captain Marcel Desailly launched the Lizzy Complex on 18th June 2011, he set out on a journey to honour the memory of his late mother Elizabeth Addy and also to provide a modern sports facility to serve a growing urban populace.
Lizzy Sports FC, an offshoot of the Lizzy Sports Complex owned by former France captain Marcel Desailly will also benefit from the provision of kits, equipment, logistical and technical support from Al Wahda.
